PHP-GTK is a PHP extension that enables you to write client-side, cross-platform GUI applications. This is the first extension for PHP of its kind, and was written in part to prove that PHP is a capable general-purpose language that is suited to more than just the web application environment.
This extension will not allow you to display GTK+ applications in a web browser.
PHP-GTK is intended for creating standalone GUI applications. PHP-GTK an excellent set of classes that can be used to build applications that contain buttons, windows, toolbars, menus, scroll bars, database access, lists and more. The team that developed PHP-GTK defines it as a PHP extension that allows us to easily write cross-platform GUI based applications and part of a set of libraries that was written in C, called GTK+.
We build Cross-Platform Windowed Apps with PHP using PHP-GTK development. At QualSoft, AppWizard tool is used to develope the PHP-GTK application.
